Which Sim Center is REALLY the best? 

Come celebrate the innovative Simwars 2.0! The ever-popular, main stage simulation challenge held annually at IMSH, is adding something new. This year’s competition will showcase Sim Center Teams competing against each other in a game of skill, creativity, and educational best practices. Each team will develop and perform their best simulation and debriefing within hours of receiving the required ingredients of the simulation, such as case background, props, and goals and objectives.

Teams are being sought from Sim Centers around the world for this East meets West, North meets South, Nation-to-nation challenge! Eligible teams will be comprised of 4 – 6 contestants who work within the same Sim Center.

Challengers for this year’s competition will be given a problem requiring a simulation-based intervention, along with goals and objectives. Audience members will determine which team developed the most effective and innovative scenario for the stated goals and objectives.

The same set of resources and props will be provided to each competing teams. Every competing Center is allowed to bring one carry-on sized bag of props or tools to use in the competition.

Simwars! 2.0 will be held on Sunday, January 11, 2015 from 4 – 6 PM. Competing teams will receive goals and objectives of the scenario at 1:00 PM.

Applicants will be notified of acceptance no later than December 22, 2014.
