Partner with SSH. Elevate Your Educational Events with Accredited Interprofessional Continuing Education (IPCE)
The Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSH) offers a Joint IPCE Program designed to support organizations in delivering high-quality, accredited interprofessional continuing education. Whether you're hosting a large-scale conference or a targeted workshop, partnering with SSH ensures your event meets the rigorous standards for IPCE credit.
Here’s how it works:
1Submit Key Event Details
To initiate the process, please review and begin filling out the Structured Abstract Document:
You don’t need to complete it in full to move forward with the agreement. To get started, we only need:
- Event Name
- Event Date
- Number of IPCE Credits Offered
- Primary Point of Contact
Once we receive this information, we’ll prepare a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for your review and signature.
2Complete the Abstract
After the MOU is signed, you’ll continue working on the full abstract and prepare for review. This includes:
- A completed abstract document, which will be reviewed by the SSH Education Committee.
- A list of all facilitators, planners, and content reviewers involved in the educational content. Each individual must create a free SSH profile and submit required financial disclosures.
- Your event evaluation questions, which we’ll upload to our Live Learning Center. These are required for attendees to receive their IPCE certificate.
All documents must be submitted at least 30 days before your event to allow time for review and approval.
3Deliver & Award Credit
After your event concludes, it's time to award IPCE credit:
- Send us a final list of attendees and the number of IPCE credits earned.
- We’ll provide final instructions for attendees to log in to the SSH Live Learning Center and access their certificates.

SSH Accreditation Statement
In support of improving patient care, the Society for Simulation in Healthcare is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
