Representing virtually every major area of simulation, SSH currently offers more than 30 Sections, Special Interest Groups (SIGs), and Affinity groups in order to provide unparalleled networking and peer-group resourcing!
Free inclusion in Interest Groups is a benefit to all SSH members. Non-members are encouraged to join Affinity Groups to begin collaborating with SSH members.
SECTIONS are formed to provide opportunities for members to advance simulation in their area of interest, to increase opportunities for participation and leadership in SSH, and to identify educational opportunities for the Society's conferences and events. Sections must have been an active SIG for two years and have sustained membership of 100 SSH Members for two years.
Sections also receive staff assistance and support in setting up teleconference meetings for its members. Sections also have the option to hold regional meetings, with Board approval.
