The SSH Fund is running a Dollar-for-Dollar campaign through September 18 — the last day of Healthcare Simulation Week. Every donation made through the campaign is matched dollar-for-dollar, up to $150,000, approved by the SSH Board of Directors. Your $25 becomes $50. Your $100 becomes $200. It is the largest match the SSH Board, Development Committee, and SSH Fund has ever offered.

The SSH Fund supports the work that SSH's operating budget was never designed to carry — the Beverlee Anderson Education Scholarship, the Chad Epps Memorial Lecture, the Early Career Mentored Research Award, and SimVentors. Every dollar goes to a specific, crucial program with a traceable outcome.
Here is what giving looks like in practical terms: A one-time gift through the campaign is the most direct way to participate — designate it to a specific program or leave it undesignated for the Development Committee to direct where need is greatest. Recurring giving is also available; a monthly or annual commitment gives the Fund consistent, plannable resources that the scholarship program in particular depends on.
If your employer offers a matching gifts program, your contribution may be eligible for an additional employer match on top of the campaign match — check with your HR or benefits team. Memorial gifts, planned gifts, and estate gifts are available for donors making longer-term commitments.
There is no minimum, and the more than $130,000 raised so far toward SSH's 2026 fundraising goal was built from gifts at every level, from individuals across this community.
