SSH President's March Message: Seasons (and Website) Are Changing!

Big changes are on the horizon for SSH!

As we enter March and the seasons begin to change, SSH is also in the midst of change!

Over the next several weeks, the SSH website will go dark as we plan to relaunch our website, learning management system, and association management system. While the plan is for it to all go smoothly, if you need your IMSH CME certificates or other documentation, please download and save it locally, before the website goes down Friday, March 14, 5 p.m. Eastern Time.

We are excited about the enhancements the new website will bring to our membership, including easier to access information, new opportunities for content, and more communication between and among our members. Many of the features we have come to rely upon will still be present in the new system but will be even easier to access.

SIMOPS 2025: Access Granted!

And, if you are beginning to think about your summer plans, make sure you have SimOps 2025 penciled into your calendars for July 16-18, in Peoria, Illinois.

The SimOps conference is not solely for our operations specialist community. Although you’ll see new products and get your hands-on novel moulage techniques, the conference also expands upon educational theory and topics, debriefing, and technology adoption in healthcare, among so much more! This year’s host site, Jump Simulation in Peoria, IL is a simulation powerhouse with over 168,000 sq. ft. of space. You don’t want to miss this event!

And, if you’re looking for ways to get involved with SSH, consider being a SimOps 2026 planning chair! Applications for both host sites and planning chairs are now open!
