We are often asked where donations go when they are given to the SSH Fund. 

I hear a version of this every year: "I spend most of my time in sessions and only get to the exhibit hall for a few minutes." I understand how it happens. The IMSH education program is exceptional, and sessions compete for time aggressively.

Greetings! Things always seem to get busier in Spring. As a parent of teens, I am experiencing this firsthand with back-to-back school events each week, and the same seems true in the healthcare space. 

As we settle into a new calendar year at SSH, I have found myself thinking a lot about momentum. How it builds. How it is sustained. And how it shows up when people are truly aligned around a shared purpose.

It’s hard to believe we have less than four weeks until we see you all at IMSH 2026. We are so excited to welcome you all to San Antonio Texas!

Last week, to close Healthcare Simulation Week, SSH posted the Healthcare Simulationist Code of Ethics - a document I’ve seen countless times. On Friday, though, seeing that incredible piece hit me in a different, deeper way I wasn’t expecting.
